Quality
Engineer/Manager
Are you a quality engineer looking for the next step or a
Quality Manager looking for a fresh challenge? Do you have
a background in the medical device industry?
Job Description
We are looking for a talented quality engineer/manager who
possesses a good working knowledge and experience of ISO 13485.
It is essential that you have experience working with product
design teams and also in a production environment.
Reporting to the Quality Director, you will be responsible
for the day to day running of the ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality
systems. You will be expected to provide regular reports on
the operation of the system to the Quality Director and take
appropriate measures to maintain and develop the systems to
ensure their continued effectiveness.
You will be expected to provide quality engineering support
to product design teams and to work closely with the manufacturing
team to provide product and process quality control support,
so previous engineering experience is highly desirable.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Day to day management of CAPA’s.
• Complaint reporting and investigations.
• Quality system internal audits.
• Quality system document creation, revision and control.
• Ensuring that design control and risk management are
carried out.
To fulfil this role you will need to be a conscientious team
player with excellent communication skills and the ability
to manage priorities and respond flexibly to changing requirements.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. A contributing
pension scheme and private health care plan is offered. Flexible
and/or part-time working arrangements may be offered.
